His extensive experience on the buy side has given him a deep understanding of portfolio management, risk control, and arbitrage and hedging strategies. He is particularly skilled at identifying lower-risk arbitrage opportunities across commodities, contract maturities and markets.

In energy and chemicals research, Chen goes beyond conventional supply-and-demand analysis. He integrates value-chain margins, inventory cycles and macroeconomic sentiment into a multidimensional analytical framework. His research covers a broad range of markets, including crude oil, aromatics and olefins, offering differentiated insights across multiple energy and chemical value chains.

Huang specialises in research across the chemical value chain and regularly conducts field research with producers, traders and other industry participants. He is skilled at combining macroeconomic cycles with industry fundamentals to assess market direction and timing.
